Just as the majestic ʻōhiʻa lehua trees form the backbone of Hawaiʻi’s native rainforests —supporting hundreds of other native species—so too have Roberta Jahrling and Rev. Kealahou Alika served as the backbone of leadership for the Pūʻā Foundation. Hundreds have been supported on journeys of trauma recovery, healing, and justice through their guidance.
Our latest effort—Planting Seeds of Hope continues this vital work. This initiative is not just about today’s planting—it is about tomorrow’s forests for the enjoyment of future generations.
This is a special invitation for you to be be a part of and enjoy an evening of aloha ʻāina and hoʻola hou (renewal) at our 30th Anniversary Benefit Dinner on January 6, 2026.
Together, we can heal the forests that heal us — ensuring that future generations will still see the red blossoms of the lehua in bloom. Mahalo nui for considering this opportunity to stand with us in aloha ʻāina and aloha kanaka. Ulu ka ʻōhiʻa - E Ola - the growth of the ʻōhiʻa - to live - to thrive!
